Rory McLeod, Development Officer

Following his postgraduate degree in Environment & Development from The University of Edinburgh, Rory has gained over 10 years professional experience in a variety of environmental and community-engagement based roles.  As an Ecologist he surveyed a range of protected species, including work on The Native Woodland of Scotland Survey. He also has significant experience of  Local Government, delivering projects to meet strategic aims of increasing literacy, employability opportunities, and environmental awareness.  Most recently Rory has worked to deliver a new Community Plan for NE Edinburgh, and a series of Participatory Budgeting projects across Scotland.  He is keen to bring his environmental and community-based interests together to develop, protect and enhance green networks.
